So last week was fun, I went to a Griffin House concert at Jammin Java, and enjoyed it a lot. Griffin House is similar to Damien Rice and put on a great show. I will definitely be buying his CDs and seeing him again if comes back around to this area. The concert itself was at a very cool coffee house sort of place, small and intimate, my kind of venue. I love the fact that he just came out and started playing, no opening band, which kept the concert shorter and you only saw what you came
One Year
So I've reached the one year away from my hometown today. Exactly one year ago I arrived out here on the east coast, knowing no one and conquering life. What a year its been. I've traveled plenty, made some new friends, had a few visitors, and really just another year is gone. Time passes so quickly, last year I couldn't imagine life out here. Sometimes it still just hits me that I actually live here, sometimes it just feels like a realy long vacation and someday I'll be going "home", but then I am home. Lets see what next year brings.
