So, I'm in San Diego, CA this week, and am loving it.  First off, the weather here is perfect, not too hot, not too cool, just right.  The people here seem super friend everywhere I've gone so far.  A quick note about that, is there something about me, on my first day here of walking around, I had 2 people pull over in cars and ask me for directions, then 2 people walking along asked me where things were, I responded with "I just got here today."  I must just look like I know what's going on, or just friendly.  I was also just laying by the harbor and had 2 l

So, I'm finally 21, well actually I was last weekend, but am just now writing about it, as I feel as though I should probably reflect on what it means to me.  I've been looking forward to my 21st for quiet some time, as all of my friends are over 21, and I get ditched often as I can't go out with them, when they go to their "grown up" places.  But anyways, my birthday was pretty fun, we hit up Adam's Morgan on Friday night and Baltimore Fell's Point on Saturday.  Now I'm just like any other person, not special because of my age :(.  Oh well, now maybe I won't get

This year I attended my first ShmooCon.  ShmooCon is described as:

ShmooCon is an annual East coast hacker convention hell-bent on offering three days of an interesting atmosphere for demonstrating technology exploitation, inventive software & hardware solutions, and open discussions of critical infosec issues.

A friend told me about Carbon Leaf many months ago, but I recently just acted on getting their CD's.  Their Indian Summer CD is pretty great.  One song I've connected with is "Raise the Roof", here are the lyrics I like from it:

Very true.

That this guy actually rapped this, or that I watched it all and was laughing because in all my nerdiness I understood all of it.
