Life

Hmmm, another year...

Hmmmm... A lot has happened in the last year.  Too much to describe, so let me just look forward.  I can't believe this year is already half over!  I've got so much yet to do this year and want to take some sort of vacation.  I'm thinking I should take a fall trip to somewhere in Europe, but with the USD being so week right now, I'm not sure how well that would work.  I think I need just a few weeks to myself, with no interruptions, nobody bothering me, and no electronics.  Enough for now, here are just a few quotes I wanted to note:

Griffin House and Damien Rice

So last week was fun, I went to a Griffin House concert at Jammin Java, and enjoyed it a lot.  Griffin House is similar to Damien Rice and put on a great show.  I will definitely be buying his CDs and seeing him again if comes back around to this area.  The concert itself was at a very cool coffee house sort of place, small and intimate, my kind of venue.  Later on in the week I went and saw Damien Rice in DC, he was pretty amazing.  I love the fact that he just came out and started playing, no opening band, which kept the concert shorter and you only saw what you came

One Year

So I've reached the one year away from my hometown today.  Exactly one year ago I arrived out here on the east coast, knowing no one and conquering life.  What a year its been.  I've traveled plenty, made some new friends, had a few visitors, and really just another year is gone.  Time passes so quickly, last year I couldn't imagine life out here.  Sometimes it still just hits me that I actually live here, sometimes it just feels like a realy long vacation and someday I'll be going "home", but then I am home.  Lets see what next year brings.

More on San Diego

I forgot about a cool experience I had the other day, I saw the sun rise on the east coast on my way to the airport, and then watched it set on the west coast, definitely a unique experience that I enjoyed.  So anywho, just a few more reasons I love San Diego:

My Birthday

So, I'm finally 21, well actually I was last weekend, but am just now writing about it, as I feel as though I should probably reflect on what it means to me.  I've been looking forward to my 21st for quiet some time, as all of my friends are over 21, and I get ditched often as I can't go out with them, when they go to their "grown up" places.  But anyways, my birthday was pretty fun, we hit up Adam's Morgan on Friday night and Baltimore Fell's Point on Saturday.  Now I'm just like any other person, not special because of my age :(.  Oh well, now maybe I won't get
